What prompted the initial contact with the killer? On March 10, 2023, at around 12:35 p.m. Deptford Township PO Robert Shisler observed something suspicious about Mitchell Negron Jr. and “conducted a pedestrian stop” on him.
Actions taken by subject toward police: Negron Jr. refused to comply with PO Shisler and ran away from him. While running from the officer, Negron Jr. shot at PO Shisler, striking him in the leg.
